Drupal is a powerful tool on its own, but when it's paired with a robust contact relationship management (CRM) solution, it can have an exponential impact on how an organization tracks users, transactions, and interaction. This session will explore ways of using Drupal as a native CRM, kickstarting development with Distributions, and implementing more advanced custom integrations with CRM platforms like Salesforce, CiviCRM, and Salsa. Specific attention will be given to bi-directional integrations using the Salesforce Suite modules. Message Agency is the original developer and a current maintainer of the suite.
We'll be splitting the session into two tracks: a brief demo of the possibilities, particularly focused on the nonprofit sector; and a tour under the hood of some implementations, with a summary of the benefits and challenges of this approach.
