In this follow-up to last year's popular session "There's a Module for That: Don't Use It!" we will look at how we can use small bits of code to extend the functionality of Drupal Core and popular contrib modules. Whereas last year's session demonstrated how it is possible to make simple modules that replaced complex contrib modules, this session will demonstrate how you can make Glue Code modules, tiny modules that add and alter the functionality of popular contrib modules you are already using. We'll look at examples of how to do this in both Drupal 7 and Drupal 8.
