Or, why you should read the classics.

This year during the NED Camp keynote, the audience was asked if they had read The Cathedral & the Bazaar. I was surprised, and annoyed, that almost no one raised their hand.

So, for this session I will provide a crash course in some of the "classics" of software development. Hopefully providing you with the knowledge that most of the problems you are grappling with are not new, and many of them have already been solved.
